Project Coordinator / Environmental Scientist
Navarro Research & Engineering, Inc. is recruiting for a Project Coordinator / Environmental Scientist in Grand Junction, CO.

Provide technical and site management support for Task 103. Tasks range from technical report writing, assisting in the performance of annual site inspections, supporting the review and analysis of proposed rules that would impact Legacy Management activities, assisting with general program management activities, assisting with site budget planning and variance narratives, providing project coordination and oversight for construction projects, stakeholder and outside organization site communications, leading and directing subcontractors, data analysis, and new legacy site transitions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
Under general supervision, serves as field work coordinator on assigned projects/programs.
Performs surveillance for field compliance with projects, procedures and associated work plans.
Assembles personnel for field projects.
Conducts field project readiness reviews.
Submits field documentation to records unit.
Represents Project Manager for field activities.
Develops statements of work for subcontractors.
Assists with development of cost estimates.
Assists with project scheduling.Assists with response to client requests.
Bachelor degree in Environmental or Physical Science, or equivalent (geology, geochemistry, hydrogeology, etc.)
Knowledge of fundamental principles, concepts, and techniques required for the support of environmental projects/programs including technical analysis, environmental regulations, budgetary functions and matrix management systems.
Skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks under limited supervision and guidance.
Ability to independently organize a variety of work tasks to meet established objectives, using discretion in performing duties.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors and clients.
