This position will support the Deparment of Energy and 450+ users. Permanent position with benefits. Relocation assistance available if needed. The hiring manager will also consider Westminster, CO or Morgantown, WV as a location.
To support the AIM Record Systems, and the IT team supporting US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT Operations.
Leverage knowledge and experience to effectively contribute to long and short-range systems planning and continued integration support for existing Electronic Records Keeping System (ERKS), which encompasses second level support for existing Documentum environment.
Support Operations and Maintenance to upgrade, modify, or replace existing COTS systems, federal records, communications, and business support systems.
Collaborate in developing requirements, design, test, and deploy COTS and custom technology solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, or equivalent.
Candidate must have experience with SQL Server 2008/2012/2016 environment and good understanding of SQL
Strong understanding of relational databases and complex queries
Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and integrating web and other applications composed of C#.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server 2008/2012/2016 technologies.
Demonstrated C#, ASP.NET, JQuery, Web Services (SOAP/REST), CSS, HTML, and SQL experience
Working knowledge of SDLC, configuration management, IT Governance, and risk management frameworks and associated tools.
Demonstrated experience with performing software development, systems integration and enhancements, unit and user testing, and systems maintenance efforts.
Willing to travel to alternate sites to support systems operations, integration, and deployment (<10% traveL)
Experience working with US Dept. of Energy or other US Federal Agency
Experience working in a government IT environment
Experience with Federal Cyber-security policies and standards and how they affect applications development.
Experience with Federal records policies and systems
Experience with Team Foundation Server
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint integration and administration
Technical writing experience
Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
